Action-oriented Practicum for Facilitating Effective Communication in Active-Learning Classrooms

February 19, March 4, and March 18, 2024

Deadline for Registration is February 1, 2024

Join The POGIL Project and Social-Emotional Learning expert Brandi Lust, our lead facilitator, for a 3-day practicum, as we explore Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) strategies to help educators build skills that facilitate effective communication in their active-learning classrooms.

Why Attend this Event?

Educators and administrators are under increasing pressure due to many competing expectations: curriculum, testing, evaluation systems, and needs of students among others. Addressing social and emotional needs in the classroom is as important as addressing course content.

Practicum Agenda

Click on the link above to see the three-day agenda that is designed to introduce educators to effective communication strategies in the classroom; design an implementation for their own class setting; and get feedback from other educators/thought partners throughout the process.
