      This 1/2 day workshop serves as an introduction to POGIL(Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning) and an exploration of the benefits of this approach to active-learning in the classroom. Participants will experience a POGIL-based learning environment, analyze activities to understand how guided-inquiry is structured in a POGIL classroom, and consider classroom facilitation and other issues related to the implementation of POGIL.

      Guest parking passes are required to park on campus and can be obtained at the Visitor's Center(109 Daniel Dr.) or at Parking Services(G01 Edgar Brown Union), Monday-Friday, 7:30AM to 4:30PM.,excluding university holidays. These passes are free of charge.

      Parking Lot E-6 is the closest parking lot to the workshop and is located behind Brackett Hall.
